Systems Engineer
ssential Responsibilities/Requirements:
Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down. Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
Own CT systems feature and clinical application development projects including technical risk retirement with systems thinking. This requires working with and leading teams with different disciplines and cross functions including engineering platform teams, quality, sourcing, marketing, manufacturing, product management, research teams, and customers.
• Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams. Manages interface between components and execution organizations.
Supporting, coordinating and leading technical reviews.
Define system test strategy and perform hands on product integration activities
• Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. Supporting, coordinating and leading technical reviews.
Contribute to and shape system designs, and collaborate with marketing, clinical partners and luminaries for clinical application features.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomph h own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and cont. lutes to the area.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set oarameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the job training to solve straightforward task Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple intera/ sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Stays up to speed on industry technologies and applies those to product development and to in prove systems design practices.
Bachelor's degree in STEM" majors (Physics, Technology, Engineering and Math)
7+ years relevant work experience
Electro-mechanical, hardware, and software system integrations, modeling and analysis
Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and simulation (Matlab, Simulink Python, SysML)
Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems
Demonstrate ability to pursue tasks to completion
Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc) and/or in Physics/Math.
