Infrastructure Project Manager | Remote.
We are looking for a strong Infrastructure Project Manager to support an ongoing enterprise engagement involving large-scale IT infrastructure and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing hardware migrations (Printers, A/V, end-user equipment) along with Server and Application migrations.
The candidate should be comfortable working across infrastructure, application, network, security, vendors, and business teams to drive complex migration projects from planning through successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end Infrastructure migration projects from planning through execution and closure.
• Manage Hardware migration initiatives including Printers, A/V equipment, end-user devices, and related infrastructure.
• Drive Server and Application migration projects across data centers, cloud, or enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Server, Network, Application, Security, Desktop, and Vendor teams.
• Manage migration waves, cutover planning, testing, implementation, and post-migration stabilization.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors and ensure delivery against project timelines and SLAs.
• Coordinate UAT, validation, rollback planning, and go-live activities.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, status reports, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure migrations are completed with minimal business disruption.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Project/Program Management.
• Strong experience managing infrastructure migration projects.
• Hands-on project management experience with:
o Printer / Hardware migrations
o A/V equipment migrations
o Server migrations
o Application migrations
o Data center / infrastructure relocation or transformation projects
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing multiple technical teams and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, RAID management, change management, cutover and deployment processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall or hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and executive communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience with Data Center Migration / Consolidation.
• Cloud migration experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with CMDB / ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong experience with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.
