Edifecs Developer / Production Support Engineer| Remote | W2 Only.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Edifecs Developer with Azure experience to support and maintain healthcare EDI and Edifecs applications in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Edifecs products, healthcare transactions, production support, issue resolution, and cloud-based environments, particularly Azure.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience with Edifecs Suite (XEngine, SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, Trading Partner Management, Transaction Management).
Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI transactions:
834 (Enrollment)
835 (Claims Payment)
837 (Claims)
270/271 (Eligibility)
276/277 (Claim Status)
Experience in production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
Experience supporting application deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting in Azure environments.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and issue investigation.
Experience working with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing tools.
Understanding of healthcare payer/provider business processes.
Ability to perform log analysis, application monitoring, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for Edifecs applications and EDI transaction processing.
Monitor production jobs, interfaces, and application performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
Analyze EDI transaction failures and implement fixes.
Support application deployments, migration activities, and release management.
Collaborate with business, operations, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
Support Azure-hosted applications and cloud infrastructure.
Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Edifecs Certification.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and payer systems.
Experience with Facets, HealthEdge, QNXT, or similar healthcare platforms.
Exposure to cloud migration or modernization projects
