The Windows and Active Directory Engineering team is looking for an experienced Active Directory / Software Engineer with advanced skills in Active Directory architecture, Active Directory Federation Services, PowerShell automation, Group Policy and Windows Server technologies. In this position they will perform all necessary R&D, POC activities, in conjunction with Domain Architecture, leading to the final recommendation of new solution offerings. They will also be responsible for design, build, testing, administering, securing and the automation of the necessary infrastructure technology components to meet both current and future business goals. Responsible for the design and administration of Active Directory (AD) and GPO’s. Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies. Experience using PowerShell for automation, implementation and data extraction of infrastructure components Responsible for the creation and maintenance of system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps Responsible for providing strategic direction on Active Directory security Responsible for the research of emerging technologies for Active Directory and Windows platforms Proficiency in Infrastructure code management, reviews and repositories using tools such as GitHub Provide consulting and design recommendations for all business initiatives that require directory services and integration into Active Directory Knowledge and experience in implementation of Cloud based authentication and directory services integration Provide Level 3 support Support Company directed initiatives and projects related to the Active Directory environment. Provide peer training and documentation on Active Directory related projects and initiatives Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity Management environment Skills/Education/Experience: Mandatory: Technical Skills Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD), ADFS and GPO’s Expert knowledge of scripting used for administration / automation. Preferably using PowerShell 4/5 Experience and knowledge in implementing advanced security configuration across an enterprise Active Directory infrastructure Proficient in administration of PKI in Windows Server 2012, Windows Minimum of 5 years of Active Directory and Windows System administration within a mixed virtual and physical environment Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. ADFS 3.0 TCP/IP Networking Non Technical Skills Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills Proven ability using expertise to solve complex problems under pressure Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment Team player with a sense of ownership Experience in Agile or Kanban methodologies Ideal Candidate: Server 2012 R2 Experience in using SCOM or other monitoring tools for a large Active Directory environment Experience in using and writing queries within Splunk to extract and report on Active Directory data
