Role: Site Reliability Engineer with focus on Network/Security
Location: SCV, CA.

b) Load balancing and Traffic management
c) Netwrok security --- this is more critical ask for this role.
Solid grasp of network security principles, protocols, and practices. Familiarity with security frameworks and common vulnerabilities.
Knowledge of Certificate Authority (CA) certificates and their management.
Understanding of SSL/TLS protocols and HTTPS implementation.
Experience with SSL offloading techniques.
Proficiency in Java programming and core concepts.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and troubleshoot Java applications.
Proficient in using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and log management solutions (e.g. Splunk).
Ability to analyze performance metrics to forecast capacity needs.
Experience in creating alerts and dashboards for real-time monitoring.
Understanding of load balancers and their configuration for high availability.
Familiarity with load balancing algorithms (e.g., round-robin, least connections).
Experience with Nginx and Apache Traffic Server.
Familiarity with proxy server configurations and their use cases.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate different time zones.
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues efficiently.
Proficient in conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and formulate solutions.
Proficiency in using analytical tools to assess situations.
Initiative in identifying problems and implementing effective solutions independently.
