Position: Windows L2 Engineer
location: Alpharetta, Georgia or Cincinnati, Ohio (hybrid—3 days onsite)
Contract role
Key Responsibilities:
Manage VMware vCenter clusters, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
Provision, optimize, and decommission virtual machines to ensure performance and capacity
efficiency.
Develop and maintain automation scripts or bots for VM provisioning, health checks, and
routine maintenance.
Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., vROPs, Newrelic ) for proactive performance and capacity
management.
Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related incidents and support change
implementations following ITIL best practices.
Collaborate with Storage and Backup teams to ensure proper VM backups and disaster
recovery strategies.
Maintain documentation for virtual infrastructure, configurations, and standard operating
procedures.
Ensure virtualization infrastructure complies with security standards and internal policies.

Position 2: Storage and Backup L2 Engineer
Job location: Alpharetta, Georgia or Cincinnati, Ohio (hybrid—3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities.
1. Backup Management
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault, NetBackup, and Veeam.
Good to have experience with Dell PPBS (Druva) and Dell PPDM.
2. Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Proactively monitor backup jobs and storage systems.
Identify and resolve issues to minimize risks of data loss or downtime.
3. Compliance & Security
Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory data protection standards.
Implement and enforce encryption and secure access policies for backup systems.
4. Storage Administration
Manage SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments to ensure performance, scalability, and availability.
Hands-on experience with Dell storage technologies: PowerStore, Unity, PowerMax, PowerScale, and Data Domain.
5. Capacity Planning
Analyze storage utilization and growth trends.
Recommend capacity upgrades or optimization strategies for efficient storage management.
6. AWS Storage Services
Manage AWS File Storage Gateway (share creation, deletion, file/folder recovery).
Administer S3 Buckets and leverage scripting for automation within AWS environments.
7. Collaboration & Support
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and vendor teams to safeguard business-critical data.
Provide technical support and coordinate with external partners when required.
8. Operating Systems
Basic understanding of operating system layers.
Experience working with both Windows and Unix platforms.
9. Networking
Knowledge of networking concepts and the OSI model.
Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues affecting backup and storage systems.
10. VMware
Basic hands-on experience with VMware environments.
